ABERDEEN, S.D. – Area tennis enthusiasts can look forward to the return of the Campus Showdown shortened format tennis tournament this fall, as the Northern State University tennis program will again host the day-long event on Saturday, Sept. 25 on the Jerde Tennis Courts.

The tournament is open to players of all ages, from juniors to collegiate players (intercollegiate and club) to adults.  All matches will be shortened format, allowing for as many matches as possible for each participant.

Events offered include men’s and women’s singles and men’s, women’s and mixed doubles.  Each player may participate in one singles and one doubles event.  Cost is $10 for singles entries and $5 for doubles.  Deadline for entry is 5 p.m. Sept. 20.
