Wolves take down Mustangs 21-18

MARSHALL, Minn.  – The Northern State University wrestling squad closed out their conference schedule Friday with a 21-18 win over the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs in Marshall, Minn.

 

The win closes out the Wolves season record at 6-8 overall and 3-4 in NSIC dual contests this season.  All eight of the Wolves’ dual losses have come at the hands of teams that were ranked within the top-11 in the country (seven NCAA, one NAIA).

The Wolves are next in action on Sunday, February 28th when they host the 2010 NCAA Super Regional Three at Wachs Arena.  The tournament will start at 12:00 p.m. and the doors will open at 10:00 a.m. for the event.

 

Northern State University is an NCAA Division II affiliated school participating in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and is located in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
