ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Upper Iowa University Peacocks looked every bit deserving of their no. 11 national ranking Sunday by defeating the Northern State University Wolves 24-10 in an NSIC Conference Dual at Wachs Arena.

The loss drops the Wolves to 2-2 overall in dual action on the year and 1-1 in the Northern Sun.

Brent Fosheim and Jared Little each picked up decision victories for the Wolves in the first two matches of the day to stake the Wolves an early 6-0 lead, but the nationally ranked wrestlers in the lower weight classes erased that lead put the Peacocks up 9-6 through the first four matches.

Freshman Benton Crow then earned a major decision in the next match to gives the Wolves back the lead 10-9, but Upper Iowa would win the 149-184 weight classes the rest of the way in earning the NSIC dual victory.
