Jordan King
Men's Basketball
Jordan King (G, 6-0, 180, Jr., Arlington, S.D./Arlington HS) led an NSU comeback effort against the University of Mary with a career-high 16 points on Saturday despite playing just 17 minutes of the game.  King drained four of eight 3-point attempts, including several late treys to keep the Wolves in contention.  He was also a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line while dishing out five assists and coming up with one of the team’s three steals.


Emily Becken
Women's Basketball
Emily  Becken notched her first double-double of the season with a 17-point, 11-assist effort in the Wolves' 76-65 win over the University of Mary.  Becken was one of four Wolves in double figures in scoring and one of three players to notch a double-double, marking the first time that has happened this season.  NSU has now won four straight games.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.
– The Northern State University women’s swimming team opened up their weekend competition at the Falcon Invite's Red Division hosted by the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Friday in Minneapolis, Minn. and had two top finishes in competition.

Both first-place finishes came from sophomore Christine Retzlaff who won the A final for the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:14.58 that set a personal best and also finished first in the A final for the 100-yard fly with a school record time of 1:00.21.

Retzlaff has still won every individual event she has entered this year.

The Wolves will continue action tomorrow at the Falcon Invite with competition slated for a 10:00 a.m. start.

Northern State University is an NCAA Division II affiliated school participating in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and is located in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
