KANSAS CITY, Kan. – For the second straight year, Northern State University junior Maggie Fedor has been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as an All-Central Region performer for her on-field efforts. Fedor, who was also honored by the NSCAA in 2008, was tabbed to the Third Team All-Central Region squad. The all-region teams were recently announced by NSCAA officials.
Now a 4-time All-Region honoree by two different organizations in her career, Fedor led the team in goals (5) and was second in points (10) this season, while leading the Wolves to their 12th straight appearance in the NSIC post-season tournament.
Combined with her previous years, Fedor now has 28 career goals and 12 career assists, good for 68 career points, putting her amongst NSU’s all-time leaders in both career goals and career points.
The Central Region is made up of teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conferences, which include 25 institutions that sponsor women’s soccer.
